 REVIEWS

"My husband and my self stayed over for 1 night in the main hotel and had a lovely valentines dinner. The room was very modern for an older hotel. Hotel is a beautiful classic countryside hotel with outstanding views across Loch awe. The staff were fantastic , friendly and very attentive. There was a very lovely atmosphere within the hotel which catered to all types of guests. The valentines day menu was a set menu and the food was fantastic. Definitely worth at try ( even if your just popping in ) the room was clean and well presented and nice and warm. All in all I would highly recommend and my husband and my self will most definitely be back. Absolute hidden gem"

"We stayed in the hotel in the McLean room. We had everything we needed. The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was really comfy. Tea and coffee supplied. The view was amazing from the room. The reception, bar and waiting staff were all friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The location was lovely. The food was also amazing. I can recommend the beetroot balls/pakora. My partner said the burger was the best he had ever had. Seen mixed reviews but we had no complaints at all. I would recommend it."

"Perfect stay. The staff were brilliant- good old fashioned service. So friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and we had the comfiest biggest bed ever! Lovely big bathroom. Kindly put in a room near an external door for doggy comfort breaks in the middle of the night. Brilliant breakfast I can highly recommend the continental breakfast - what a selection! Being directly on Loch Awe was perfect for our water loving dog. Really safe area to let him run wild. And this is a truly dog friendly hotel - balls as you walk in the front door. Looking forward to returning at Christmas. Thank You to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful xx"
