The health and safety of our guest, employees, suppliers and other visitors at Portsonachan Hotel and lodges is our absolute priority. Our team is carefully trained to follow all the latest relevant UK Government and local health authority COVID 19 guidelines and we are certified as Good To Go by Visit Britain/Visit Scotland.
Please discuss any concerns relating to our policies with a member of the team and who will happily supply further information. Please also note that these are exceptional circumstances and some of our usual routines and services may not be available.
Enhanced cleaning routines are carried out in all areas of the hotel as well as the self-catering accommodation prior to arrivals and following departures. The public areas of the hotel are also exceptionally well ventilated. The policies within our food supply chain and kitchens have also been reviewed in line with Government and local health authority recommendations.
Hand sanitiser stations have been placed throughout the hotel. Antibacterial wipes are also available on request. Each room now has its own sanitiser supply together with a cleaning pack.
Access to your room is via a key card through which you can also order food and room service. Any customers requiring assistance with this process may contact Reception during opening hours. Please note that room service will be socially distanced with any deliveries left outside your door.
Social distancing signs are in place and we ask that guests and other visitors observe the latest legislation whilst being respectful to other guest and our employees. Our team’s health is regularly checked with a stringent self-reporting system in place. All our staff wear regularly changed disposable masks for optimum cleanliness. Should you experience any C19 symptoms during your stay we would kindly ask you to alert reception at once so that we can help you manage the situation in a calm and considered way.
